Why am I not surprised?

In the news this morning was a story about a woman spotted potty training her toddler twins at a Utah restaurant. At the table. Apparently she had brought along a training toilet, had stripped the kids down and was letting them “do their business” while eating their chicken fingers. We were in the middle of breakfast service when this report came on. Our customers had quite a few comments to make. With our staff, on the other hand, it was just a few head shakes and ” I’m not suprised”. Far too many times I’ve had to ask parents to please not change their children’s diapers on the table tops and in the booths. And this in nice restaurants with baby changing stations in the restrooms.
