One, maybe two more weeks of being able to meander around the farmer’s market. The only thing I don’t like about winter is not having all the fresh produce to choose from for soups and daily specials. It’s nice walking around the market in the a.m. ,seeing what’s available and planning your menu specials. Here’s a little trivia for you: The Roanoke Farmer’s Market is the oldest continously running farmer’s market in the U.S.A.! We also had the world’s first organized Rescue Squad.
