Burger and onion ring soaked in a maple whiskey sauce topped with lots of bacon.
Sold out of these on Dude’s Day this past Thursday.
Maple whiskey sauce:
Maple syrup- 1 bottle
Jim Beam- that’s up to you. Personally, I went with a rocks’ glass full.
Black pepper- a lot
Butter- maybe 2 tablespoons
Whisk it all together and simmer for a few minutes. Cook the burger almost to temp., dip into sauce, finish burger to desired temp., then dip again before plating. Cook the onion ring extra crispy and dip into sauce. Top burger with crispy bacon and drenched onion ring. That’s all you need. No extra sauces required.
