Just chillin’

With the weather being wickedly hot and humid the past several days, we decided to run with a cold special for lunch. The temperature in the kitchen is hovering right around 98-100 degrees and any physical effort brings on a downpour of sweat. For some reason, every last vendor and delivery guy who comes into the kitchen finds it necessary to inform us just how hot it is…as if we hadn’t noticed. Tempers are definitely running short right now. It wouldn’t surprise me to find a body stuffed under the buffalo chips in the freezer one morning.

Anyhoo. Here it is: Watermelon and Tomato Gazpacho with Spicy Shrimp Skewers
To the crew at the Cornerstone: a hotdog and two sides? Is that the best you can do?
